REFUND POLICY

Marysville Little League has adopted a limited Refund Policy to address all requests for refunds. Player withdrawals once teams have been formed greatly affect our ability to field teams with the correct number of players per roster - and in drafted divisions, may compromise the integrity of the draft.

• All refund requests must be submitted using the Refund Request Form. 

• Any verbal or email requests will be redirected to complete the form. 

• All decisions regarding refunds are final and not subject to appeal.

• No exceptions will be made to this policy.

• Requests will be reviewed within ten (10) business days following the date of form submission. If additional information is required, this may extend our review time

• Refunds are issued using the card on file in your SportsConnect account.

• Check Refunds are subject to an additional administrative cost of $7.00 per check and may take up to 30 days to be processed and mailed out. Checks will be mailed certified and require the recipient to sign for and pick up the item at the post office.

ALL APPROVED REFUNDS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A 25% ADMINISTRATIVE FEE + COST OF ANY UNIFORMS ORDERED.



Refund Request Types:

General Withdrawal - Spring Season

• Tee Ball, Rookies, Teen Divisions (Non-Drafted): May request a refund up to the start of the scheduled season; players may not have attended a practice in order to qualify.

• AA, AAA & Majors Divisions: May request a refund up to the final day of Player Evaluations. No refunds shall be issued once the Draft has been completed.

General Withdrawal - Fall Ball Season

• All Divisions: May request a refund up to the start of the scheduled season; players may not have attended a practice in order to qualify.

Injury Hardship - All Seasons

• All Divisions: Player may have attended practice, but may not have already participated in a game to qualify. Documented proof of injury spanning the remainder of the season, such as a doctor’s note, is required at the time of refund request for submission. 

Relocation Hardship - All Seasons

• All Divisions: In the event that your family relocates and is no longer able to participate, player may be eligible for a refund. Player may have attended practice, but may not have already participated in a game to qualify. Documentation of move from area must be provided at time of request (such as a copy of a Lease Agreement, Military Relocation or Purchase & Sale Agreement)

Bereavement Hardship - All Seasons

• All Divisions: In the event that a refund is being requested due to a death in the immediate family (defined as parent, step-parent, guardian, and/or sibling), a refund may be granted if documentation is provided. If a player has participated in more than 50% of the season’s scheduled games, no refund will be approved/issued. 

Approved Refunds are subject to the following terms:

• All approved refunds are subject to a 25% administrative fee to be deducted from the amount paid per player.

• Any discounts applied during the registration process will be excluded from the refunded amount.

• When a sibling discount has been applied to the order based on 2 players, the amount of the discount will be added to the remaining player’s account.

• Refund type must be selected when filling out the request form.

• Approved refunds will be refunded to the payment card on file for the specific order.

• If the card on file is no longer active, you must either select “Refund by Check” during your submission OR update the card prior to placing your request form. If your refund is approved, the refund will be processed and you will be notified via automated email. You will not receive a personalized email from the League.

If your refund is declined, you will receive a personalized email with a brief summary of the reason.

LATE REGISTRATION POLICY

MARYSVILLE LITTLE LEAGUE may permit late registrations as follows:

Drafted Divisions (AA, AAA & Majors) are only permitted if:

• Division has space available; and

• Player attends the Player Evaluation; or

• Player is a ‘hat-pick’ during the draft if he/she cannot attend.

Players who register late are not eligible to be considered for playing up. Those eligible for multiple divisions who do not attend evaluations will be placed based on Board Discretion.

Once the Draft is complete, no additional players will be permitted to be added to the regular season roster of drafted teams unless a player is already registered and transferred from another team. 

In Non-Drafted Divisions (Tee Ball, Rookies, Intermediate 50/70, Juniors, Seniors), late registration may be permitted up to the end of the first week of practice if space is available on the team subject to a $10 Late Fee; all late registrations are considered on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors.

PRIVACY POLICY

MARYSVILLE LITTLE LEAGUE only collects personal information when you request our services and only uses the information collected to provide those services for you. If you choose to make a purchase, you will be asked to provide contact information (such as your name and shipping address) and financial information (such as your credit card number and expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to process your order. MARYSVILLE LITTLE LEAGUE handles all of this data with the utmost confidentiality.

THIRD PARTIES

Any personal information provided will not be traded, rented, sold or otherwise shared with anyone outside of MARYSVILLE LITTLE LEAGUE, or used for reasons beyond those contemplated in this statement. From time to time, we may engage third parties to process your information on our behalf; however, none of MARYSVILLE LITTLE LEAGUE affiliates (such as our credit card company) have permission to retain, share, store or use personal information for any reason other than providing the requested service.

SECURITY

To prevent unauthorized access, disclosure and improper use of your information, we have established appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards to protect the information we collect in accordance with our privacy policy.

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet." (etc.)

Furthermore, your credit card number, expiration date and CSV code is never stored in our systems.

Our systems are routinely scanned by a third party provider for security vulnerabilities in compliance with the policies of VISA / MASTERCARD.
