Hello Families - Marysville Little League is thrilled to begin the 2025 Spring Season with MAJORS PLAYER EVALUATIONS!** Please read all of the following information as the format for Majors has changed in 2025 **
All players - inclusive of returning players and players of coaches - are expected to attend and participate. This is to promote inclusion and good sportsmanship throughout the league in 2025.Location: Cedar Field, 1001 Cedar Avenue, Marysville WA 98270
BASEBALL: Wednesday, February 19th

Arrival / Check In: 5:15 - 5:30 PM
Player-Led Warm Ups: 5:30 - 6:00 PM
Player Evaluations: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- Players who are league age 12 and do not attend the evaluations are still selected into Majors.
- Players who are league age 10 or 11 and do not attend the evaluations could be selected for the AAA division as there is no guarantee they will be selected for the Majors division.
- All players signed up for the Majors level will be selected to either a Majors or AAA team, regardless of whether they attend the evaluations.
Arrival / Check In:
- Parents and Players will check in at the concessions window to receive their number.
- Parents are required to sign players IN at the start of the session and OUT at the end.
Player-Led Warm Ups:
- Players will be permitted to take the field in order to run, stretch, begin tossing with a partner, etc.
- Volunteers will be on field to facilitate questions and ensure safety.
Evaluations Begin PROMPTLY at 6:00 PM:- Manager/Coach/Volunteer Staff Introductions
- Staff-Led Warm Ups
- Drills - Batting - Fielding*
- Pitchers/Catchers Evaluation*
*Order of events may vary, but all will be included
Evaluations will end no later than 8:30 PM (but may end earlier based on turnout and speed of the evening):
- Parents who drop off their players should plan accordingly and be available to pick up their player at any time during the evaluation window in case of emergency.
Player Information:- Check In EARLY and ARRIVE READY
- Consider wearing your cleats / turf shoes to the field
- Bring all of your equipment even if you think you don't need it, including alloy bats
- Try on and adjust any safety equipment ahead of time (leg/arm guards, batting helmets, softball facemasks, catcher's gear, etc)
- Dress in layers and be prepared for the weather; unlikely to reschedule for rain
- With the exception of helmets, players should not wear team gear from any select organization (sweatshirts, jerseys, pants, etc) to evaluations
General Information:
- There will be no parking available in the paved lot with the exception of ADA permitted vehicles
- Limited Concessions Available - Water, coffee and cocoa available at no cost; other items available for purchase
- Parents must sign players in AND out; numbers must be returned at the end of the session
- Drop-offs are permitted; parents will be required to leave a phone number on file during check in; session may end earlier than 8:30 pm
- Please, no chairs or wagons (bleacher seats okay)
- Spectator seating is limited to above-dugout bleachers only; no seating in lower bleachers or in right-field grass.
- Spectators are asked to refrain from interacting with on-field staff, coaches and players during evaluations
